Isaiah. 9:2

The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.

O Thou Day Spring come lead the captives from prison Come free those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death

O come, Thou Day-spring, come and cheer

Our spirits by Thine advent here;

Disperse the gloomy clouds of night,

And death’s dark shadows put to flight.


Rejoice! Rejoice!

Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel
