Candles and Incense (1)

Candles and incense have been used in Christian worship for centuries.The scripture is full of  God as light and fire and of incense as symbolic of prayer and presence.

Lighting a Candle (A Symbol for Christ, "the Light of the World") or some Incense can be a way of engaging our senses in worship, prayer and practicing the presence. They can also helping make our times of prayer special  and set part. 

Advent is a wonderful time to incorporate these elements into our pracitice.
