My wife Mary and I we’re a couple of bright-eyed, high school hippie sweethearts who have been inseparable for 40 years. We have 7 uniquely individual children whom we not only love but like. Six grandchildren who are presently the apples of our eye, and three more on the way. Our lives are rich with family that are friends and friends that are family.
We became followers Christ in 1973 during the Jesus movement. Our faith journey has taken us far and wide. We have pitched our tent in many camps, drank from many streams and worn many hats.
We have lived in intentional community and served as missionaries to India. For over 25 years have given leadership to non-traditional faith communities. One being the Refuge (and the Refuge Café) an alternative (emergent) faith community, which was birthed in 1994 and continues on today under younger leadership.
Presently we are homesteading in eastern Ontario and are involved in an inter-faith community.
Mary is a PSW, I do some teaching, writing, acting in local theatre, and am a member of the band Fraser Creek. I pass much of my time doing chores and cooking meals for my best friend..
